.After all, it was rude to refuse apresent and it had been a while. And itmay just be the very thing he needed tolift his spirits.* * *The following morning Sage woke up ina far better mood that the one he’d beenin the night before. He showered againand changed, getting into the studioaround ten o’clock. He’d even spoken tothe paparazzi camping outside the studioand managed to be courteous, which hethought was quite a coup for him.His evening had certainly beenmemorable as Brian had proven himselfto be a very talented and extremely lustyyoung man.Sage had finally got to sleeparound two A.M.but he’d been wokenup around seven by Brian for a quickmorning shag and a fairly mind-blowingblow job. He’d left Brain curled uplanguidly in his bed like a cat.On hisway in, Sage realised he’d left hisannotated script at home. He’d calledDan, who’d promised to bring it in onhis way into work.Sage saw Luke andJanine sitting at the studio table and hesauntered over, whistling.Janine peered at him from over hisbifocals.“Good morning, Sage.Youlook fairly pleased with yourself today.Anything we should know about?”Sage grinned.“Nothing that agentleman would talk about.Have youheard from Thomas this morning? How’sDianne?”Luke smiled.“She’s doing well. She’ll be coming home later today andThomas is going to take a couple of daysoff with her until Monday. We’llreschedule Dianne’s scenes for then.SoI’m afraid the pressure is going to be allyours for the next few days.” He smiledslyly.“From the glow you have I have toask—did someone get lucky last night?”Sage chuckled.“Stop fishing.I havenothing to tell either of you.” He turnedas a voice echoed across the studiofloor.Dan stood there, waving a sheaf ofpapers.“Got to go, Dan’s brought my notesin.” He turned and sauntered over towhere his friend stood.Dan had a widegrin on his face and Sage laughed at theknowing glint in his eyes.He held up hishands in supplication.“I agree I wasuptight and I needed to release somepressure. Thanks for looking out for me.It was definitely fun.”Dan chuckled.“They’re all friendsand came as a package deal and Icouldn’t refuse.Brian really liked you.He said, and I quote, ‘He was so hot andneedy.’ Unquote.Suffice it to say he wasimpressed with your large manhood andyour sucking skills. That’s as much asI’m telling you or else you’ll go all redand ‘Aw, shucks’ and I can’t stand thatat this time of the morning.I’m tellingyou, Sage, you should see him again. He’s very into you.You need to fuck himagain.”Sage chuckled.“Jesus, Dan, he toldwhat we did? Hell, we’re not eighteenany more.Have some decorum and stopbroadcasting my bloody sexploits allover the studio.”Dan’s eyes widened at somethingbehind him.Sage glanced back, seeingAlex standing there. His face was paleand he looked ill.Sage groaned silently, wondering if he’d heard any of theirconversation. He fervently hoped not.Despite his irrational need to get back athim last night, in the cold light ofmorning it was something he’d ratherhave him not know about.“Alex, hi.Let me introduce you toDan.You remember I told you abouthim.”Alex nodded, holding out his hand toDan who shook it.Dan smiled at him.“So you’re the mysterious Alex thisbugger keeps talking about.Glad to meetyou at last.Sage tells me you’re a verygifted writer and that you’re busy withanother book? I haven’t read them yetmyself but Sage here is very taken withthem.”“I’m glad he enjoys them.” Alexturned and looked at Sage.“Luke askedif you could see him when you have amoment.Apparently there’s been a bit ofa mix-up with some of the scenesequences and he needed to runsomething by you.”Alex turned to Dan.“Lovely to meetyou, Dan.” He walked away.Dan whistled
